Basketball Training Instructors
Ryan Sypkens is a Sacramento native who has an immense passion for the game of basketball, helping others, and sharing his expertise for the greater good. Graduating from Franklin High School of Elk Grove in 2009, he was selected to the Sacramento All-Metro team before his team fell short to McClymonds high school of Oakland in the state playoffs.
Directly following his high-school career, he enrolled into UC Davis and worked his way into the starting line-up a few games into freshman season. He then went on to break the single-game, single-season, and career three-point record at UC Davis as well as the Big West Conference all-time career three point record while leading the nation in three-point percentage.
Following his career at Davis, he went on to play professionally in Colombia, South America and Tokyo, Japan.
Ryan is the Head of Skill Development and an Assistant Coach at Prolific Prep in Napa, CA. Ryan a teacher, yet always a student. He is a Certified Performance Psychologists, an expert in shooting mechanics, and a skill development specialists. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasizes in Sports and Social Psychology at U. C. Davis and earned a Masters in Business Administration. Coach Sypkens is also an avid entrepreneur. He has been a wonderful mentor to many and has found a great passion in sharing his experience, expertise, and philosophy with the next generation.
Elimane Diallo is also a Sacramento native and shares Coach Ryan's immense passion for the game of basketball. He is an ultimate student of the game and has always been considered a basketball junkie amongst his peers. After graduating from Franklin High School he received a scholarship to play Basketball at NCAA D2 University Notre Dame De Namur and finished his collegiate career at the University of Waterloo located in Toronto, Canada. He also received his degree in Psychology.
Everyday Coach E steps in the gym, he brings a contagious energy and passion that positively influences our students. He is a firm believer in the Touch philosophy and works every day on crafting the wave.
